How do I book a session, is there a deposit?
Send me a message to confirm once you are ready to book a session and i will forward you the information and details to forward a $35 session deposit.
How many people can attend a Newborn session?
These are for immediate family members, generally those that reside in the household and of course siblings that may live in another household.
What should i wear?
I recommend plain/neutral/earthy colours. Nothing to busy, for example logos or loud designs. Remove all chunky accessories such as watches, keep it all looking natural and non distracting for a timeless looking feel to your photos.
Do you allow breastfeeding photos, id love to capture some of me feeding baby?
100% yes, whether you are feeding or just having skin on skin contact, these are beautiful to have.
What if we get to 1 hr and we still need more time for our session?
Don't stress, this is just a guide, please let me know if you expect to be running late or need outfit changes. I allow upto 3 hours for a session, incase bub is unsettled, needs a feed or things are just generally not going to plan!
What time of day is best?
Sessions indoors at home are best during the time that suits you and your baby firstly, but also when there is a good amount of light in your house. I rely on using natural light only.
Can we do our session outdoors, what location can we go to for our session?
We can go where ever you like on the coast, lets decide first what type of location you want and work it out from there. As longs as its comfortable for everyone I can be there.
The weather isn't looking good can we cancel or reschedule?
Yes we can, you can either cancel or have a refund of any monies paid if a date cannot be rearranged,
If I cancel will i get my deposit back?
A deposit will only be returned if I cancel your session or if the session is cancelled due to weather.
How long until I can see my photos?
I usually try to at least get you a sneak peak within 48 hours, and then your gallery to select your images within the week. Your final edited images are back with you within 2 weeks.
How many images do i get, do i have to select them from the gallery?
Newborn sessions are a set fee and include all images, usually around 35-40, It is much easier in my experience as all photos are beautiful and lets face it, what Mumma has time to scroll through selecting images and trying to choose their favourites!
Do you post to social media?
I often share my families photos to social media such as facebook and instagram. Most families love seeing their babies on the screen and can tag/share with families. I do appreciate not everyone likes this so rest assured if you prefer your photos not to appear online, just tell me x
